A. Eilene Carver

A. Eilene Carver resides in Frisco, TX with her husband, three children & two terriers.  She earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Printmaking & Design from Baylor University and her Masters of Fine Arts in Painting from UC Berkeley.

Eilene has been a professional artist for over 20 years creating works in oils, pastels, charcoal and prints.  Her work symbolically expresses human concerns.  She addresses a wide range of content; hope, jealously, trust, vanity, frailty, fear, wisdom, knowledge, love, fidelity, memory, death, faith, the soul, spirit, purity, and the contrast of the temporal and the eternal. Her work has been included in regional & national exhibitions since 1986 and is in collections throughout the United States.

Eilene is an Associate Professor at Collin College where she teaches Drawing and Painting. She works with youth in her community in numerous service capacities.

Eilene has supported the arts in Collin County through her involvement with the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco, PTA Reflections Art Chairman, artistic donations to the painted violins project benefitting the Cross Timbers Youth Orchestra, and acting as curator and visual arts judge for the 1st Annual Frisco Arts Festival and the Heritage Art Association Art Contest.

Her favorite pastime is hiking and exploring any State or National Park with her family.
